Bio:
Tenli Yavneh’s comics focus on personal encounters with loss, such as chronicling her mother’s decade long decline due to Parkinson’s and Lewy Body dementia. She has drawn in a sketchbook every day for almost twelve years, a daily practice that helped her through the last years of her mother’s illness, a high stakes job in mental health, the pandemic lockdown, and other personal challenges. Her comics were selected for the Emervyille Annual Art Exhibition in 2023 and 2024.
